Our Story

The Impact Group is a full-service real estate investment, operating and development company. Originally founded in 1981, Impact has built an extensive track record spanning over 28 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Initially formed as Pride Enterprises, Impact's humble beginnings started off with a focus on economy brands in emerging markets across Florida, acquiring and developing over $10 million in hotels in its first few years of operation. Since then, Impact has expanded into the mid-scale and upscale product segment in high barrier to entry locations across the state, acquiring and developing over $175 million of hotels in the process.

Along the way, Impact has been recognized by its peers for excellence in the industry. Some of these honors include being awarded the "Key to the City" by the honorable Mayor Dick Greco for Impact's development of the Hilton Garden Inn in the historic district of Ybor City in Tampa, FL, the first hotel to be constructed in Ybor City in over a century. In 1998, Bass Hotels recognized Impact by awarding the Holiday Inn Express in Jacksonville the "Newcomer of the Year Award" for the Southeastern Region. In 1994, Days Inns of America recognized Impact for the "Management Company" of the Year at its annual convention in Las Vegas.
