Restaurants
Being involved in the hospitality industry for 25 years we at
Impact developed a passion for owning, developing and operating
great restaurant brands. The Impact Restaurant Division was launched
as result in 2001. We don't fit the mold of a typical restaurant
company - we are not interested in being the biggest or the richest
- just being the best. Our focus will be on owning the industrys
great franchise concepts as well as developing our own concepts.
In 2001 Impact developed and launched its first restaurant concept
in Tampa, Florida - MJ Barleyhoppers International Alehouse Grill.
It was an instant success. A second location opened in March 2005
in Brandon, Florida. In February 2002 M.J. Barleyhoppers was awarded
the Retail Store of the Year by Chain
Store Age magazine for its unique design and concept. In
May 2002 M.J. Barleyhoppers was also featured in the Nations Restaurant
News magazine. Impact plans to develop 3-4 additional MJ Barleyhoppers
in the Tampa / St. Petersburg area.
In May 2002 Impact also signed a Master License Agreement with
Firehouse Restaurant Group in Jacksonville, Florida to develop
and operate 17 Firehouse Subs in the Tampa Bay area The first
unit opened in September 2002 and today the company has 5-units
opened with agreements in place for 2 additional units to be developed
over the next 12 months. Founded in 1994, Firehouse Subs was featured
as one of Nations Restaurant News 50 Regional
Powerhouse chains in 2002 and is growing at a fast pace with average
unit sales higher than that reported by Subway, Blimpie and Quiznos.
